These options are fluoride application, specific types of toothpaste, root canal treatment, gum grafts, and a variety of other procedures. 

Additionally, your endodontist may recommend the use of a soft bristle toothbrush, or the use of a mouthguard while sleeping if sensitivity is caused by tooth grinding.
